Most possible answer is to fish more praises.
Me as a lady, sometimes I do not know how to response if someone said she is not pretty. As courtesy, I will say, "no, you look pretty ler."
Or should I just agree with her. "Oh yes, you are so fugly. You should not scare people off by going out shopping. Do you want me to help you get a paper bag to cover your face?"
I know I am so super cruel if I said those above written answer. I think I better just keep quiet.
If someone said I am pretty, sure I will say "Thank you." I know I am not pretty kind of girl, but thanks for the sarcastic compliment.
But if someone said I am cute, I will say, "finally you acknowledge my cuteness, I always know I am cuteeeeeeeeeeee.O o o o Thank Q. Thank Q. Thank Q. Thank Q. Thank Q."
